KOS INFO

[!!caption]

Second only to Rhodes in popularity and population, Kos is a mellowed-down version of its big sister to the south. Kos offers a welcoming face once you let the island get under your skin. Elongated and running almost west to east, Kos offers a spread of things to see and do – from beaches and bars to cycling and cars with which to tour verdant hills, remote coves, and high-energy beaches.

Archaeology buffs will find their niche in the home of western medicine. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, lived and practised here. The island has a good balance of amenities and attractions. Kos certainly grows on you, but it needs a little more time than you might at first believe.
